From Open Perpetuum

It is said that there are two things the Pelistal’s enforcer, the Tyrannos, fears - the corruption of the Ictus, and the wrath of the Kain. The Nuimqol Union developed the Kain after a series of engagements in which the Empire was able to hammer down the Nuimqol with brute force; the Kain was their answer. Fast enough in crossing broken terrain to beat the Pelistal’s missile advantage, and violent enough at close ranges to crush the Pelistal’s shields, the Kain has, since its arrival, been a markedly equalizing - if not destabilizing - influence in the war between the Union and the Empire.

Common uses

Kain is a Nuimqol multitool, used widely for PVE and PVP. It's the fastest mech around, and with ability to hit or tank like a tank. Following the formula of it's smaller sibling, Arbalest, it can do nearly the same things it can, only better. The only weak spot is accumulator, due to a much higher energy usage of medium magnetic guns.

MK2 bot is an improved version of a normal bot. Typically, it recieves additional bonuses, better fitting space, 50% more cargo and slightly higher speed when equipped. MK2 bots also require at least level 1 of Hi-Tech Robot Specialist extension and recieve additional bonuses from this extension

Aside from statistical advantages, Kain MK2 gets a 1% bonus to medium magnetic weapon damage per level and 1% bonus to magnetic weapon cycle time per level
