From Open Perpetuum

The Pelistal Empire’s industrial might is leveraged nowhere so much as in the production of Castels and of Tyrannos. Like the Castel, the Tyrannos is a cold, methodical machine of war, content to win battles through endurance and attrition - the Pelistal’s credo. Driving legions of Castels and Waspish ahead of it, a Tyrannos is truly a tyrant of the battlefield. Until the arrival of the Kain, the Tyrannos feared little, and even with the Kain’s arrival, the Tyrannos still represents a ruthless presence, willing to sacrifice itself without a thought to annihilate a foe.

Common uses

Tyrannos is highly preferred by established players for certain PVE activities. Having theoretically the highest damage of any mech due to universal +5% gun damage bonus and natural bonus to lock time, freeing up space for damage mods, it can be a thing to behold in the right hands. Thats said, low hp, tricky shield management and average speed require careful use and control so it's rarely seen in PVP

MK2 bot is an improved version of a normal bot. Typically, it recieves additional bonuses, better fitting space, 50% more cargo and slightly higher speed when equipped. MK2 bots also require at least level 1 of Hi-Tech Robot Specialist extension and recieve additional bonuses from this extension

Aside from statistical advantages, Tyrannos MK2 gets a 1% bonus to missile range per level and +1% to medium missile damage per level
